Plant Energetics

Plant Energetics

Plant Energetics is a class on learning the herbal energetics of individual plants and plant families. Learn from the plants and not about them. By living in such a lush bioregion, we are able to work with and observe live plants, in their natural environment. To think, some people only have the opportunity to take online classes and work with dried and pulverized herbs. The problem with working with only dried herbs is that you never truly learn the properties of the plant. Touch, nibble, smell & observe a handful of native plants in several different habitats with Victoria Fillmore and you will be able to truly begin or continue your practice with plants with confidence. This is the most crucial step if you plan to forage for your own herbs. Is it hairy? Square stem? Resinouse & sticky? Smelly or fragrant? Which part do you use? Is it growing by water? Near a Cedar tree? Is it growing on dirt or wood? Believe it or not these are all crucial questions when making a guess and concluding an ID. Please come prepared to go on a brief walk, sit outside in the sun and to take notes! Sunscreen, bug spray, good shoes, pad & paper encouraged. $25/pp Link to tickets on eventbrite.com below
